Uwharrie National Forest is about 1 hour from me. I live in Matthews, NC (east of Charlotte). Lots of cool trails. My 7 year old son has a blast when we go.

I used to drive up to Winston to visit friends regularly, and head up that way for fly fishing occasionally. It’s an easy drive, about an hour to CLT.

Yeah it's not bad. I'm right next to 40. Not sure i'm ready to do a trail yet being still stock and it's only 4 weeks old. That first scratch this early would be painful LOL

Oh, I know what you mean. Had to replace my rear driveshaft before making my 3rd payment! ? Once you get a little trail damage you start to relax a little ?

That would be cool. Haven't been out to Gulches yet. I missed the trip when the local club (Holy City Jeep Club) went out a couple months back.

Ok cool your not too far from me. I am Indian Land. Went to Uwharrie back in october when we took the camper to morrow mountain state park. It was fun, but the Uwharrie is a bit of a hike from me

@eaglerugby04 your only about 20 minutes from me. I have done some work in Indian Land, SC. Definitely some good meetup spots in the South Charlotte area.

I know it’s short notice, but my job on Saturday got canceled yesterday…
Anyone interested in meeting up to do Old Highway 105 on Saturday? My 7yo son will be with me.
It’s a gravel road that runs the west side of Linville Gorge. I want to start on the north end at Linville Falls and work back south.
