Check out the doorbell video, we were in back by the shed.

I went up by

Evergreen. Co to pick up some tires. While we were loading them a mother and her 2 year old cubs charged us. You can see the cub in the begining...even the cubs were big...mom was huge and not 50 feet away...all 3 are in the video.

Thats wild!! I see them this time of year at work a few times per week and we catch them on our cameras at home late at night. The ones at work usually casually walk by or stop and watch us at work constructing a new building at a local industrial plant where wildlife runs around all day. Mainly deer and turkey but the bears are out this time of year for a few months.

Did you all shoot at them at the end of the video?

No we were hiding in the jeeps lol. We did lots of yelling. Crazy how fast they came up and they didn't make a noise. Suddenly the cub was at the jeep, it was big and thankfully mom didnt get to the jeep.

Yeah we see them near people all of the time without being noticed. I yelled a two guys last summer when one was approaching them but they didn't hear me before the bear stood up to get a look at them. They scared the bear when they both yelled out at the same time and it ran off. Its crazy that they have miles of wooded area to be in but they would rather be inside an industrial plant or near homes. I guess the easy food we leave in the trash is easier than chasing food. They have plenty of deer and turkey they can feast on where I work also

In the poconos they'll meander right on into your garage if they smell any trace of a treat. This one seemed particularly interested in my TT coyote. Possibly smelled coolant, who knows.
