My 2022 Willys Gladiator has the Uconnect 4 system with 7 inch screen, every time I turn my truck off the clock function will lose its time. After starting the truck the clock time will display the wrong time for a few minutes until it gets a Bluetooth connection to my phone at which time the clock will display the correct time. Any ideas on what is going on with the clock function?

Mines has been losing time since I bought it. I have the 5 inch no frills radio. Probably loses 5 minutes a month. I just set it a couple minutes ahead that way I don't have to mess with it as often. What I don't like about it is the radio has to be on to display time. Radio off, no clock.

Just about every time keeping complaint I have seen for these late model FCA Uconnect system radios, it is a radio head unit replacement to fix. It is usually related to capacitors of the radios electronics that regulate both time and setting memory retention.

There's a software fix for the slow clock on the 5" radio.

Done the update and it’s still slow, unfortunately….
Not sure what update you've done, but I've updated 3 5" radios and it fixed the slow clock on each one.

There's a setting available that displays the time on the dash right in front of you - just access the display settings feature using the steering wheel buttons and you can put the time in the upper left, center, or upper right sections.
