Sway bar bracket (welded) at axle (2 bolts each side) Threads stripped on one of the bolt holes. Is Tapping only/best fix?

Bolt is ok, no damage at all, just threads in bracket look wrecked. Can ratchet in 4 or 5 turns then stops.

Is there a torque spec for those bolts?

do you have an extra bolt that fits those holes? if ya do, you can take a grinder and cut a groove into it and make it function like a tap
