Color Change Sunrider Black Twill?

Does anyone know if it feasible to paint, dye etc the Sunrider soft top? I am thinking of painting the hard top section but would like to the Sunrider match.

I would let a true auto or boat canvas shop weigh in and possibly disassemble and dye it. By its crumble up nature, paint won't work.

I understand about seeking alternative colors. But in my opinion, it is going to be more trouble and work (not to mention additional costs) than it’s really worth it to do this.

I understand it is not the best option but it would be nice if Sunrider offered some color options. Right now the only option is black and color matched for the hard top. I am looking to have a contrasting color to the Sarge green, along the lines of a saddle brown I saw on a motorcycle last year. Hardtop painted and the Sunrider a close enough color. Black Sunrider with a saddle brown hardtop would look out of place more. Everyone has a black hardtop/soft top, few color matched.

A good canvas guy could take it apart and remake it in Sunbrella fabric which comes in many colors
