I ran the driver side rock slider on it too but otherwise it was a fun and easy test of the JT capability
Even without lockers on mine, I didn't have any issues. The washout whoops at the switch back was almost a no-brainer with the long wheelbase, just walked right up and over them. My trail buddy didn't have his sway bars disconnected, and in a TJ, struggled a bit on both of those obstacles. Figured it would have been the opposite.

Here are some pics of my trip up Mount Princeton last weekend.

The 4 wheeling was pretty easy, until you have to pass someone going the opposite direction. No pics of that as I was full &$$ pucker and white knuckled worried about the paint on my baby.

New Mexico road trip this week. Got ducked at Carlsbad Caverns, got a farmers tan at White Sands, and chased some blue crystal meth in Albuquerque. =)

Aspens are in full color this weekend around Vail, Leadville and Breckenridge. Just did 2.1 trails today as McAllister Gulch is closed at the Shrine Pass entrance, so did Shrine Pass instead, which is pretty much a dirt road a Smart Car could drive between Red Cliff and Vail Pass. We later found that McAllister is open from Camp Hale side, just have to loop around, and drive Ptarmigan. There's mudslide damage on the trail, so eta for trail opening from Shrine unknown.

We then hit Mosquito Pass starting at Leadville, and then Georgia Pass starting at Breckenridge to finish the day. Georgia was overrun with ATV and UTV's on the Breck side, so keep that in mind if you go.

One final note, we ran across a White Rivian electric truck, no camouflage, on the drive back into Denver on 285 on the drive up Kenosha Pass, it was heading South. Unable to capture a picture of it

Anyone going or been to the Denver Auto Show? Talked my wife into checking it out this afternoon. Oktoberfest also happening down the way helped me sell it lol.

Typically, the Denver Auto Show has a few bright spots, mostly the a Jeep Booth with rides, and some of the aftermarket companies with their product, and the local 4x4 shops with their "I have a tiny dick" trucks on display. They never have any prototype vehicles from manufacturers, and is somewhat disappointing in overall presentation. We went 2 years ago and they had 1 Gladiator, isolated so you couldn't sit in, or touch it, and none on the Jeep Drive Event. We did take a Wrangler on a drive.

Oktoberfest is definitely worth your time. If you love beer. Uber/Lyft there and back. Enjoy it. You won't be disappointed.

thanks for the info! I didn’t assume the auto show would be too crazy, hopefully it’s not even more disappointing post(mid?)-pandemic. Oktoberfest is for sure the reason for the trip, excited to check it out ?
