My latest project was to install some MC control arm skids on the front. When I pulled off the lower control arms (aftermarket, they appear to be similar to BDS non-adjustable ones, but not sure on that. I am the second owner) these were the bushings that were in them. They are worn and I thought they would be easy to find replacements for.....lots of searching but no joy. They have the part number M09177 on them. Any body have any ideas? I tried BDS website, they show fixed length front lower control arms, but do not show replacement bushings. I emailed them but am waiting for reply. They may not be BDS arms. There were no grease fittings on the arms and no grease in the bushings. Tried cross-referencing them with Moog, but no part number like this came up, or on google.

That may be my next step,
(.....Well by now he realized this Jeep thing had become an obsession,
He had to take a second job just to prevent re-possession....) --taken from my "Epic Jeep Poem" ;);)

Well, I was finally able to determine what lift my Gladiator's previous owner had installed. It is a Daystar KJ09188BK 2 inch lift. The part numbers on the control arm bushings are still good numbers and I have some coming direct from Daystar. ( 5 dollars apiece ) The lift install instructions tell you to lubricate the bushings prior to installation, this was not done when the lift was installed and I think that is why they prematurely wore out. We shall see, since the DS lower control arms do not have grease zerks. Maybe I will try to install zerks when I replace the bushings. Funny that when I googled the bushing part numbers M09177 in several different ways, nothing came up.
