one thing I was wondering is if they offer sound deadening material for purchase? (like Hotheads does with their Sound Assassin strips)

You can easily purchase sound deadening material from Amazon and get a lot more coverage to your liking.

I installed the top cover back in August and have been very happy with it. There was a noticeable difference in temperature within the cab as well as a decrease in road noise. I choose this system over just the inserts that boom mats or hot heads uses, based upon previous experience. The finished look of the roof is also a plus. Recommend if you go this route, be patient and make sure you have help.

JCARBS - now we're cooking! Might just have to pull the trigger on these as I like the finished look over the "insert" look. Did you have to remove the entire top to install them or can they be installed from inside the vehicle?

heck you can even go over to sonic electronics and buy some nvxsound deadening there too.:. Well that’s where I got mine

Yes, pulled the roof and it wasn't all that difficult to do. Plan about two hours to do. Only problem was the directions suck, so you'll need to watch the youtube video several times.
