Anyone know what part numbers I should be getting from the dealership?

I've called a couple and they keep giving me 68291705AC which shows up as a 2018 JL Wrangler windshield when I google it.

I have an Overland Gladiator with the premium audio, no active safety. I'd like to be getting the same windshield as what came from the factory... considering my vehicle is not even 3 months old...

The part I found on Quadratec is this: https://www.quadratec.com/p/mopar/tinted-windshield-glass-jl--jt-68433233AB

I really hope this doesn't become a headache...

You want film not glass in this application. I’ve been adding film to my windshields for almost 10 years and I’ve never chipped or cracked one
What kind of film we talking?

Ahh I was just at my local shop and they were touting this. Wanna say it was like 500 bucks or so. Sound right?
That's a lot. JK windshields are about $200. I expect JL/JT windshields to fall to a similar price point UNLESS you have the Big Black Box, in which case replacing will always be expensive.

Yup I have one, but interestingly, that wasn’t something they asked about when quoting

I joined the cracked windshield club, it was really odd that the chip grew to a 15-20" crack over the course of 24 hours.

Destroyed my windshield on the way home from work today. Had the jeep for less than 72 hours:( I have free windshield replacement with my policy, and I think I will get my money back with this gladiator.

I only paid $350 for my model 3 and the windshield is way bigger but I also got tint at the same time so maybe there was a slight discount

Look into a two part application called diamond fusion.. my dealership was telling me about it so I got it.. claims to make the glass 10x stronger. YouTube it, pretty interesting. I put it on my gladiator windshield.. time will tell

The windshield folds down so your “Big Black Box” hypotheses is flawed.

Less than 20 minutes after leaving the dealership with my brand new 2020 Launch Edition, I heard the dreaded CRACK! and sure enough, a small stone had caused it - a crack in my windshield leaving a spider that's about the size of a half-dollar coin. I think it's too big to fix so I'll be looking to have it replaced. Need to see what's involved - time and cost - to get a factory windshield.

I can't believe I'm the first here but I didn't find any other postings when I searched.

Jeep's windshields are notoriously easy to crack from the slightest impacts and because of that, most every Jeep forum I've been on has a Cracked Windshield Club. Here's one on the JL forum:
