What questions would you ask someone who is currently "media reviewing" a JT?

Heres a question....

Can they work with or unite with another "media tester" and put two gladiators side by side to compare dimensions, looks and capabilities of the two.... lets say a rubicon with its dana 44 wide axels next to a Sport S that has the Max tow package which comes with dana 44 wide axels also.... and maybe put the rubicon 33's on the sport S to get an idea of whether the two end up with similar look, clearance and stance on the same rims and tires .... just something Ive read a few people pondering on the forum.... including me

I guess I will just cut to the chase. If anyone has access to Instagram, check out the page of seanpholman (that is the name of the account) and you can see photos and ask questions!

That's actually who I thought of when I saw this thread lol

Seems like from his comments that he's going to sell his JK for a JT

See the 2 screen shots from Curt Hitch Co web site. For exact limits and capacities for a Gladiator with an automatic transmission versus a manual transmission you should check the Jeep site. Bottom line is simple. If you plan to tow a small, lightweight trailer then you will more than likely be ok with the standard class II hitch that will come with all trim levels of the Gladiator. Don’t know for a fact if it will be a 1 1/4 square inch receiver tube hitch or if it will be just a round hole in the bumper that you drop a trailer hitch ball into. See the thread about class II hitches for more info on that issue.

For certain the class IV hitch will be an under the bumper 2 square inch receiver tube.

And will I buy one, yes if it’s not overpriced. To be determined, to be continued. Stay tuned.
i thought somebody on here told me they've seen plenty of class IV hitches that were only 1.25" square, i've never seen one, and agree with this class IV 2" square info from Curtis.

All wrangler hitched to date have been class II hitches and have been 2”.

How do you know they were all class II and not class IV?

Ok, gotcha. I thought Bangolia was talking about all of the Gladiators that are out there for sale only to FCA employees. My bad.

They’re Wranglers - they can’t tow enough for a class IV
That and the build and price tool for the wrangler states it’s a class II

He answers that in this thread:

  • crableg85
How tall are you did you fit ok in the driver's seat? I'm 5'11 and 300 lbs wondering if this will be to small
  • seanpholman
@crableg85 I’m 5’9, 220 and have seen people as much as 6’3 and 350 fit fine.
I believe crableg85 is on our little forum here.
