You think Mopar would supply or sell a shortened Rubicon decal to correct.

I have to agree that this install is not for the faint of heart! I did not remove the hood so I would not have to crack the painted bolts. I have done enough upgrades and repairs but this install was the most nerve racking too say the least. Since I have a Willys, shorter than Rubicon, no issue covering any letters. I have taken this through several car washes and driven in some decent rainfall and no issues with water getting in.

I want to do that but on the opposite side to bring air into the diesel airbox. Shouldnt be a prob, right?

Ok, I see, its part of the CAI kit...wonder if it can be bought as a separate part...

People do sell just the cut out, have to keep an eye out. I picked one up for a spare before I bought the whole set up from MOPAR.

Confidence is needed but if you follow the instructions, it actually went quite well. If you do decide to go this route, use a Dremel tool that is AC wired. I do not recommend using a battery Dremel tool unless you have about 10 batteries! I had only 2 batteries so a 3 hour job took 6 hours! Also I used the Dremel Cutting wheel and it works very well.
