Gonna dig this up from the past. Might swap a Rubi front axle into the sport. Am I asking for trouble if I don't put a rubi rear axle in too?
Check out Trail Recon's YouTube page. He bought a used Willys JL to do a build up into a rock crawler and his Willys came with an LSD in the D44 in the back and he had a D30 in the front.

His shop found a Rubi front axle take off and put it on his Willys. Since then he's done all kinds off off roading with that thing including Moab and it did well.

Anyways, in one of his videos he goes over how the front sticks out 1/2-3/4" further each side and that video was quite a while back and he must not have had any issues because he hasn't mentioned it again. Obviously you'd have to match your gears.

I actually shot him a question a week or two ago asking if there were any adverse affects but he hasn't answered. I was looking at doing this to my JK when I was toiling over put some money in my JK and make it awesome or go with that STRONG pull toward the JT that I've had since they came out and just buy it like I want it off the bat. I went with the JT. LOL!

Do not forget, unless you already have an adjustable front track bar, you will need a longer front track bar swapping in the longer Rubicon axle.
