Trying to come up with some well planned storage for various things needed. Just started digging into it when I found out the stroller my sister in law is handing off to us is 18.5" folded which won't fit under the tonneau which is 17.5" for bed depth. Figured we'd have some dedicated baby gear under the rear seat and come up with a way to fix a stroller in the bed, but curious what you more seasoned parents may have in your bag of tricks.

Who out there has some dad (or mom!) gear put in place on their JT? Tactical diaper bag on your roof rack? Let's see it! Mobile mounted to the roll cage? Post it up! Juice box bar in your overlanding fridge? You know what to do...

That must be a big stroller!!! I have a huge double one that fits under my hard folding cover fine.

I added some running boards with drop steps to help the kids climb in, I still have to buckle them in but they get a big kick out of getting in themselves. Wait till you have the top off! They love it.

I started a thread about a month ago about helping kids get in and out. You can look back to that but I think you are thinking more about younger kids. My wife used to keep a very mini foldable port a pottie in her car. Definitely comes in handy when kids are around the potty training age. It would fit under the rear seats. I had 3 kids under 5 at one point. My every day carry was a large one gallon zip lock with a couple extra zip locks in it plus bandaids, wipes and 20 paper towels all in a big zip lock. If a kid pukes or gets a minor cut or spills something you want to clean it up and if it is stinky you want something airtight to put it in.

I learned after we had our baby that we didn’t need half of the crap we carried. She likes a couple toys and books to read in the car when she isn’t sleeping. Now that she is 2 and eats snacks and drinks in the car I made sure we had a good set of floor mats and a seat cover under her car seat. It helps with vomit if she gets sick. That’s happened twice now :puke:. You probably won’t need as much as you think. I throw a diaper bag in the seat next to her and she keeps her toys with her in the car seat if she isn’t throwing them around the cab haha Diaper bag hold everything I need for changing pee, poop, and clothes. Tailgate makes for an excellent changing table as long as it isn’t too cold or raining. For long trips we invested in a DVD player for the back of the headrest. It’s a lifesaver for sure :like:. We have a big jogging stroller that fits in the bed under the tonneau. Not sure how to help you there.

I'm pretty sure this is the stroller / car seat combo deal she has. The specifications show the smallest dimension for folded to be 18.5" and the bed depth is 17.5". Maybe I'm looking at it wrong? They've got a couple images for it being folded up. Looks like you can take off the carrier and it should fit under.

if the wheels come off that would save you some vertical height in the bed.
