Well, after almost 100,000 miles with nothing but basic maintenance (still even on original batteries and brakes), it's time for a little upgrade.
Looking at the 2 pics, I've aged far worse than the 2021 JT has. <sigh>

I gotta say it is really nice when you have an established relationship with both the dealership and the salesman. This is the 4th Jeep from the same salesman at the same dealership. We did everything via phone and email. during the week.
I trusted him when he said he inspected the Gladiator when it came in and there were no issues, and he/they trusted that I would show up and pay them when they legally sold it to me without even a deposit.
Yesterday we drove the 2 or so hours to the dealer, and when I got there the new JTR was sitting in front, all warmed up and ready to go. We exchanged some pleasantries, handed him a check, he handed me the paperwork and keys, shook hand and that was it.
It took me longer to adjust the seats, mirrors and connect my phone.

We have the same relationship with our local jeep dealer. Good salesman and dealer.

In my random travels…. I’ve talked with people who own 2020 Gladdy’s that say they’ve never have any problems with them. This makes me smile…..

I hope & pray…. This same reliability has continued into the newer Gladdy’s (including my 2024).

Afterall….when a vehicle is reliable for you… you keep going back!!

I hope your new 2025 is just as good (or better) than the 2021.
Good Luck!

Thanks. Some of the newer tech (ie uncoonect 5 and wireless android auto) is kinda frustrating me. Now I know how my dad felt when he would ask me to program the VCR. Maybe I just need to rent a 16yr old!
My problem is we have zero cell coverage out here. Our cell phones are set up to work on wifi at home and around the yard and driveway. The problem with both 2025s is AA seems to autoconnect to an internal wifi point in the Jeep, and once that happens I can't use my phone for calls or internet because it's set to use the wife for that when connected. I was sitting out there for some time today going thru all the settings, and I cant seem to reliably force a bluetooth only connection. Absent that, I guess I completely disable all wireless AA on my phone via dev mode and just use it wired like the 2021.

Congrats to the new Gladiator.

And, btw, you didn´t aged that bad. You are actually looking like one of my famous actors (somehow, at least).

If the engine wasn't falling apart, we would have a reliable 2020 Gladiator.

What kind of issues are you having and how many miles? Curious.
Started with the tick in the fall of 23. Then replaced the cams, rockers, tappets on passenger side in the spring. Driver side similar replacement, no tick. Then a week after the work, same error codes led to a misfire and metal shavings in the oil pan and filter. Currently 107k. All work has been covered by CNA, but now waiting for them to approve a new engine, as recommended by the dealership who has performed all of this work.

Man thats a bummer. Our work used to drive nothing but caravans for our company vehicles. When they stopped making them we had to go to something else. Those vans were abused and well over 200k on them. I wonder what they have changed in this engine compared to the older ones. Did you do 5k oil changes or the manufacture spec.

Around 5-7, depending on the oil life. The shavings appeared after the last oil change a week prior. During the tear down to investigate the codes, the dealership found that everything they had done, was still in good working order.
