If I was going to build a real off road JT I would look for a used Sport. With new you will void any warranty anyway. Built 60s with 40s, Atlas, Coil-overs, hydro steering, and the money pit gets very deep at that end of the pool. My Rubicon with 35's is able to get me anywhere I want. With even a 2 ich lift I'll have my 7 year warranty intact.

They are not. My Fusion Dana 60's are 72" wide and they were significantly wider than the factory rubicon Dana 44.

If you only want to go with 40's and not 42's, you can run a 72" wide axle. I have no issues with clearance and it's plenty wide with a narrowed offset wheel. If you want to go with 42's, you will want a 72.5-73.5 for clearance.

What I read was wrong then. Ok, I stand corrected.

Just found some measurements from Dynatrac for the Prorock 44. Non Rubicon width is 66.4". Rubicon width is 67.9"

The 60's widths are 68.5" and 72.5".
