I haven't seen a thread like this, so I thought I would start one.
I work at a very small town dealership in Eastern NC. If anyone ever needs a vehicle located or curious about window stickers, feel free to shoot me a message.
I don't work back in parts, so I'm kinda limited on that aspect of it.
Any other members work at CDJR dealerships?

Almost too late to say it, but I work in service in a CDJR dealership. For six more working days.
Are you retiring or did you find a job you like better?

I'm retiring, actually, I am going from semi-retired to full retirement. I went to a two or three day work week 12 years ago, I couldn't stand not doing something useful. Now my body says time to put the wrenches away. Next Wednesday is my last day as a dealership tech. Plan on moving the toolboxes next Thursday, and if anything, they will weigh less when I load them on the trailer.

A friend of mine retired from doing HVAC work. He very shortly thereafter sold or gave away all of his equipment so people would stop asking him to fix things.
If your toolbox weighs less when you leave, that might work in your favor.

Really gonna miss you and your insights into things others never see (or think they see but don't)
At least no one can take away your knowledge and experiences to date.

Thanks to you all. It is time, I have a surgery coming up and so I just moved up the end date to the 13th from the 27th of this month. I'll still be on here some, just don't plan on having any fresh hands on experiences with the odd Pentastar failure. I do suspect that I will be getting calls from the techs I have worked with from time to time, I still have a bit of useful Pentastar knowledge.
