Defrost setting

Not sure where this question belongs, but I am wondering if we can change the defrost (or any other) settings for when the remote start is used. Even if I have the defroster off when I turn the car off, the front defroster turns on high upon remote start.
I checked all the settings and do not see a way to change the settings for remote start with the exception of heated seats and steering wheel.

Believe that defrost, seat heater, and heated steering wheel come on automatically when exterior temp is 40 or below, regardless of last settings.

In the settings of the radio somewhere I have seen "Auto-On Comfort" settings where you can turn on or off the Heated seats and steering wheel individually when you remote start under 40Deg. Not sure if the defrost is included in that though.

My bad, I should have been more clear. I’m ok with the defroster coming on, but I wish it was come on in the lowest setting. Now when it comes on it defaults to High

Normal. It is expected you are starting it in advance to clear frost, warm things up. On mine the heated mirrors come on as well. That's the way they work. I believe my wife's Grand Cherokees have been that way as well.
A big reason people stuck at work this time of year press the button to do a remote start is so when they run from their office and jump in their vehicle, the glass is cleared off. A safety thing. Press the big round button and it will drop speed of the fan.

Mine does that when it's cold. When I open the driver door the defrost fan goes back to low speed.
