If you ordered on the 26th you're probably already builtMaybe someone can help me understand this:
My order was submitted on 26 Sept for a Gator JTR. I finally got my VIN from the dealer yesterday and was told I was in D status.
However last night I received my window sticker from the tracking found here in the Forums. Since I am in Canada I have no access to Jeep Chat and therefore can't check my own status and either can my salesman, so he says anyway, only the New Car sales manager can check.
I thought window stickers weren't released until the truck was built.
So would the D status be inaccurate or the window sticker premature?
Not necessarily. I ordered on 9/25 and just entered paint phase. If he has window sticker it should be done though. If you ordered on the 26th you're probably already built
I also ordered a JTR Gator on the 9/25 and I have been in JB for a week or so.Not necessarily. I ordered on 9/25 and just entered paint phase. If he has window sticker it should be done though.
monday 10/21All you folks ordered as soon as the books opened... but when did they actually start building gators? That needs to be taken into consideration.
I would think builds are prioritized based on when the sold order was recieved. I think that is a source of frustration for some folks. You are right about the fact that they just started cranking these things out like last week. All you folks ordered as soon as the books opened... but when did they actually start building gators? They started production this week monday, not last week.I would think builds are prioritized based on when the sold order was recieved. I think that is a source of frustration for some folks. You are right about the fact that they just started cranking these things out like last week.
My guess is that at least 1,000I would think builds are prioritized based on when the sold order was recieved. I think that is a source of frustration for some folks. You are right about the fact that they just started cranking these things out like last week.
I was informed they do 300-500 units per day...If the plant did gator only this week, that would be about 2500 by today, but im sure the colors are filtered through as they become available from E (frame) and F (paint) and then depending on what components are required and while supplies last. From what i understand you dont go to D1 unless they have the materials to begin you build, after that its only a matter of time for pushing it through. The longest any of has had to wait is for them to start Gator through the line in general...its been fun watching it progress and getting to know you guys from all points of N.
