Been noticing this for a while now. When I'm on a trail, typically going DOWN a rocky section, I would really like to control my speed by braking, and I push the brake pedal pretty fr. BUT, my Gladiator seems to want push through the brakes.

Is this a diesel "torque" thing(?) that I'm hoping maybe a "big(er) brake" kit will resolve?

Thanks!

how many miles you have on your brakes? I thought i had 4LO torque push through. turns out i had air in the lines and bad fluid. at 20k odo too. I'd do proper brake flush before throwing money at a big brake kit. maybe get a more bitey pad too.

Thought about adding mileage, near 60k now, and I started to notice it around 30k

Flush would be a less expensive first step. Thanks!

I have Teraflex DeltaForce Kit and love it. I was able to stop on a highway going 110 kph when the vehicles in front rammed on the brakes. I was following at a decent distance and also have trailer brakes with controller. However I stopped in a lot shorter distance then I expected by like 4-5 truck lengths with 6,000 lbs behind me!
Originally the kit was installed on my 2020 Gaser and immediately noticed a huge difference when off-roading hard, even in the wet snow up here in Canada! Big brake kit is a must! The gasket had Micky Thompson Baja Boss’ 37’s on it:)
