Do I need a check valve?

I’m installing the ARB dual air compressor with a 1.5 gal storage tank. I ve looked all over and cant seem to find a check valve that fits the ARB fittings. I don’t run air lockers and plan to use the system for airing up tires. Do I need a check valve? All the compressor s that I’ve seen have a check valve on the tank. I would like to hear from those with a similar setup.

I've been shopping air compressors lately. I noticed that a fitting on amazon keeps popping up that converts from regular fitting to arb style fittings
