I brought a second set of rims and tires , tmps valve stems from Jeep when I installed them drove couple of miles and pressure updated automaticallyNO.
Drive it. That's it. There's nothing to reset.
Yes, as long as you have the correct sensor type and nothing is broken - it just works.I brought a second set of rims and tires , tmps valve stems from Jeep when I installed them drove couple of miles and pressure updated automatically
On that note, I don’t know if it matters, but I orient the spare sensor/valve directly towards the rear, putting it as far from the receiver as possible. I have never not done that, so I have no idea if it matters. But I like consistency.Yes, as long as you have the correct sensor type and nothing is broken - it just works.
Rotate tires, it figures it out in short order.
I, like Dan, do a 5 tire and wheel rotation so I have 5 matching tires, wheels and sensors, and every time I do tire rotation, by the time I reach the end of my driveway, it's updated things and it ignores the sensor in the spare - again, like that wild hobo fellow said.
I don't believe it matters. I never look at the orientation and haven't had issues. I'm thinking it might also look at rotation. On that note, I don’t know if it matters, but I orient the spare sensor/valve directly towards the rear, putting it as far from the receiver as possible. I agree. It’s rotation and drastic psi changes that trigger it. I just did it, because why not.I don't believe it matters. I never look at the orientation and haven't had issues. I'm thinking it might also look at rotation.
I found my other brother!I agree. It’s rotation and drastic psi changes that trigger it. I just did it, because why not.![]()
