Do you wave at another Jeep?

I wave.

When I owned my Wrangler and would drive my F150 I still waved at Jeeps from my Ford and my wife always made fun of me.

Now the Gladiator removed that problem.

And honestly don't care if people wave back or not.

If you are not a friendly person and its not your thing thats a you problem not mine

I try to wave to most jeeps, and for the most part they'll wave back except for the WK's. Hardly ever get a wave from them. ?

I wave and I don’t really worry if it’s waved back. I really try not to pay a lot of attention to it to much. I just do it when I think about it and roll on.

I’ve noticed it’s a lot less common in my area with the gladiator than it used to be with my cj and TJ. Of course there’s a lot of tricked out mall crawlers and take a wild guess which group tends to not wave back.

No matter which vehicle I've ever driven or ridden...Kawasakis to my current Kia, I have waved at other vehicles.
Someday I'll be waving at other vehicles from my Rascal scooter.

I also wave at everyone off road. I don’t get into the Jeep > Toyota nonsense. Most people seem to be the same way although I once encountered a group of FJ Cruiser folks on a trail outside of Harrisonburg that was super rude to point of hostility which I thought was silly and sad. I also don’t get into UVA vs Tech, Dallas vs Washington, Built vs Bought, Wu-Tang vs NWA, R’s vs D’s, or Americans vs. whomever else, either. Everyone eats, poops, loves their children, pays taxes and dies along a continuum that’s been chugging along for millions of years. Jeep people just have a little more fun in their short time on this earth.

That being said, I do notice that a lot of Jeep people don’t wave back like they used to. I think that’s just Jeeps becoming less of a niche thing and people just don’t know that this is a HARD requirement and THAT THEIR FAILURE IS BEING NOTED!!!! <foams at mouth>

100% of the time. Get about 50% back, much higher at the beach, 90%+. Have to admit, I wave when driving my wife’s Infiniti and get pissed when I don’t get a wave back. 15 years, 4 Jeep’s later it’s thought to break.

Yes I do. Sometimes I am concentrating such that I don't even notice a Jeep approaching until it's too late. I feel bad I missed the opportunity.

I think that many jeeps are bought from independent used car lots and don't get to learn about this tradition.

I own two cars where the owners wave (Jeeps and Corvettes). This has me waving at all of the Jeeps and vettes, even when I am driving neither.

To that guy in the C6 that looked at me like I was nuts when I waved at him from my rental minivan, please know that I am.
