Nope, that style won't fit as the top of the bolt is flush with the upper face of the plastic. The plug needs to be hollow or even slightly domed.

It was just a quick suggestion, there are a bunch to choose from... even as you described. I needed the same for my Dodge Ram's rear bumper, but it needed 3.

Can someone check their gladiator to see if their bumper has the same thing? If they’re all like that, I’m fine, but if I got some kind of weird damaged one, I would like to know.

My late model 22 has it also.
