Thanks all for your replies! So they're just plain drain holes. I thought it would have been more to it but that's cool.

Like Shifu said, there are holes in the side next to the tie downs. Used them with my Rugged Ridge hard tri-fold cover. They work perfectly. I was about to drill through the plastic plugs when I noticed them. I thought, I wonder where those go. Pushed the tubes through and they came out right in front of the fender liner. Hosed it down, water ran harmlessly out the tube and down the outside of the liner. Now I just ordered truck in February and took delivery in March so I don’t know if everyone has them or if they are only on more recent builds.

Thanks for pointing this out. I almost drilled those plastic caps on the back wall.

I have no idea. I have never seen a gladiator that has that. My only suggestion is to chase the wiring to see where it goes
Its a water channel to drain from tonneau cover under vehicle

I'd guess they are drains from the gutters of the hard tonneau cover
I'm no expert, but from what I've read on here, those look to be drain tubes for the hard tonneau cover gutters, like was mentioned a few posts up.
Water drains for your bed cover.
@SkyKing is correct, it is your drain tubes.

Man-this forum just saved me again. Info here is invaluable. Just spent the better part of a week doing a one hour “easy” trifold hard tonneau cover install. In my defense, i am old and inexperienced. Phone pictures are ubiquitous nowadays but included instructions have the worst photograhy and misleading instructions. Parts bear no resemblance to those represented. Was just about to drill holes for the rain drains in the bed and duh I said look on the forum stupid. Already had holes in perfect spots I didnt notice. Thanks again!

The rails can collect water. That water would splash or drain into and collect in the bed. The tubes direct that water to drain holes that let it run out onto the ground.

Thanks, but do you know what the tubes are for? I’m still unclear.

I believe they are drain tubes. I saw them on the install directions for a tonneau cover. That was one of the reasons I didn’t want to install a cover as I didn’t want to install the tubes. If you don’t have a tonneau water will evaporate so you don’t need drain tubes for the water collecting and splashing from the rails.
