Does the Hardtop Headliner come installed on a new Jeep?

I bought my Jeep used, so I didn't expect to find everything on the Window Sticker. But I find it very odd that my hard top does not have the head liner installed. Does anyone know if these come preinstalled or is it install it yourself? I am wondering if they just sold it or removed it after owning it.

Other then missing the 2 side trail rails and the Hardtop Headliner that's the only items missing, plus side was they added the Mopar trailer brake.

The Hardtop Headliner is not a standard feature. It can be ordered with it factory installed, and that would show up on the build sheet. It can also be installed after purchase. If the build sheet shows it, but it is missing, then the previous owner removed it or it is not the original hardtop. Either way, if you want one you will have to buy it.

On the trail rails…that doesn’t surprise me. I see a ton of them for sale locally, as folks seems to swap them out for regular step sides/rails/whatever you want to call them.

@Mr._Bill thanks for confirming what I suspected. I think I'll pull a panel off and see if I can see any left over residue. The only piece that made me question things is located on the back of the jeep, below rear window - it comes off with Velcro.

If you wanted to replace them, you could post up a want to buy thread here. I’m sure someone local to you has a pair lying around they just haven’t gotten around to getting rid of (there are multiple sets for sale in there at the moment).
