Does the OEM aux switch package that can be added later come with the interior 12v battery/ignition leads?

I seem to recall this being a "thing"/issue, in that if you add the aux switch harness yourself (even though it's OEM), it's missing the 12v interior leads which you'd find if it came from the factory. Does this ring a bell?

Yes, I added the OEM aux switch myself, and I could go digging around...but verifying something is missing is easy...I'd like to know if it should be there. I don't recall seeing them, but I don't know if it's a matter of unwinding some more tape.

You only get the two hot wires added with the interior Aux wires if the Aux Switches are factory installed. They are not part of the Aux Switches add-on kit.

I picked up the aux switch kit at my local Jeep dealer and it did come with the four switch leads for both under the hood and for the interior. Pics of labels are attached. Don't remember exactly what I paid but was around $400.00.

The switch leads, yes, but if it came from the factory the interior harness also had a battery and ignition/switched lead.

Useful for interior accessories...and unfortunately not included in this add-on version (for what reason, I have no idea).

Ahhh ok. Misunderstood the inquiry but good to know when I finally get around to installing the kit.

There is an additional bracket you have to purchase that is not included in the kit. I’m waiting on mine to come in before I can install my switches. I’ll get you a part number if you don’t have it already. I think it’s 25 or so dollars.

Hopefully this saves you some frustration. I was pissed when it wasn’t a complete kit.

That looks like the relay bracket on the driver side? Where did you buy the kit from, because mine was all-inclusive.

I purchased mine from bamwhole seller. I have not installed it. But when reading thru the directions this seems to be the bracket that is close to the battery. And it was not in the box. It’s been a couple weeks since I looked at the instructions. Still waiting on the bracket.

Ah, I just noticed the symbol...it's for diesel models.
