There is a DIY section. In some of those posts people have put diagrams up pertaining to the post.
Unfortunately no File location to just put files. I think it would be hard to administer a file section. Who would decide what could go there. What if someone put a file up like a drawing and the information was wrong, etc.. There is a lot of good information on the forum, unfortunately there is more incorrect information.

If it was like our files at work, they would be named terrible and filed in the wrong place.

I work in engineering and our servers are clutters with gobs of stale data going back 25+ years. I got in trouble for cleaning some space deleting files of half finished jobs or incomplete presentations from over a decade ago. Company is worried that some errant kernel of data would be needed at some future date even if it is a Power Point file from 2005 for a "Hot Dog Day" flyer.
