* Just a rant so I feel better*
So, purchased a Superchips 3571 to change tire size on my JL. Prior to trading in my JL on the JT, I returned it to stock and pulled the bypass module thinking that I could use it on the JT since they are 90 percent the same (other modules use the same program I think...maybe someone can tell me different.)
Not only did it not un-marry the Flashcal, they are saying it won’t work on the JT even if it was. I then asked what it would cost to unlock the VIN and they said it would be $100 even with proof of purchase.
I know other companies that do the same thing will unlock the calibrator for $40. Yes, I know they do this to prevent people from selling a locked calibrator. I guess where I am going with this is...guess I will support another manufacturer. You got me this time.
*rant off*
