Two very important points that you are missing:Hey Kenny, you can always upgrade to the 3.5" springs! You would also need new shocks, unfortunately, or a set of shock extensions for the time being.
Long Version:
1. Sounds like he isn't having any tire clearance issues so isn't going to be extending his bumpstops. That being the case he doesn't need longer shocks or extended shock mounts. Adding either of those would do more harm then good, making the very expensive falcon shocks the limiting factor for compression travel!
2. The Falcon SP2 2-3" FRONT shocks appear to be the same as the Falcon Sp2 3.5-4.5" FRONT shocks, at least according to the literature I found directly from the manufacturer. The 2-3" vs. 3.5-4.5" Falcon shock packages that include shocks for all 4 corners have different part numbers due different rear shocks. The 3.5" Package Deal sold by Clayton provides the same front shocks @kennyp already has installed on his Gladiator!
Short Version:
1. Without messing with shock mounts your bump stops are the main factor in determining shock length
2. Falcon SP2 front shocks appear to be the same length no matter if you order them for 2-3 or 3.5-4.5" lift
@kennyp if you are happy with the ride and handling of your jeep throw in a spacer or order claytons 3.5" springs. Either case you will not need new front shocks or extenders and your linkage has enough adjustment to get the alignment and wheelbase back to where it is. Ride quality may suffer a little bit as more lift means steeper angles on the control arms, if you notice this you can add control arm relocation brackets to improve the angle of your control arms.
