So my drivers door has A slight pop when opening. Just a little tight I am sure. Thought I might back out striker plate a 1/16 of a inch or so. Loosened torque headed screws and really no adjustments available There ? I’ve adjusted these striker plates for 30 years or better. I have even seen pins that sometimes had to be removed before adjusting. Just wandering if anybody has any thoughts ? I would never ask my dealer to adjust my doors Because I know where that usually leads after being in the body business for so many years. (Retired now though)

I'd take it to my dealership, or find another one to work in it. They'll probably have the body shop look at it.

Well woke up thinking I will have to try this again. Still wouldn’t really move. I removed bolts completely and striker plate. Looks like it should move. Put just bolts back in and kept working it as much as possible In the direction I want. It was like it’s in stiff rubber or something but got it to go just a little bit. Door seems better for now till my OCD kicks in again. I am thinking maybe that B-Pillar which the Drivers door striker plate is attached too could be filled maybe with sound deadner material or something like that. I have seen some of this sound deadner in some of the other panels ? Thanks again Kevin_D for checking yours !!
