Add me to the list with the misfire code. It happened to me on thursday night while I was up north (3.5 hours away). I took it to the nearest Chrysler dealership and it was a misfire code from cylinder 1? I am way out of my element when it comes to engines, but it was driving like a dog on the freeway, acceleration was slow and was eating gas. It doesn’t sound rough when running but it definitely doesn’t feel normal. I have an appt on Monday to drop it off at my dealer. After reading this thread I am not too confident I’ll get my truck back anytime soon. My dealer has no loaners for me, so I’ll be out of a vehicle and will have to figure it out. This sucks….
#1 is the passenger side front cylinder. Probably the easiest one to get to for coil and plug access. Easiest also for valve cover access if that has to come off. Should not take them that long to figure it out once they actually get it in the shop.
