Before I start chasing any gremlins down, looking for advice on where to start/troubleshooting. Over the weekend, my driver side door didn't respond to the proximity push to lock as I was headed in to work. First thought was that I had accidentally left the fob in the Jeep. After confirming that it was, in fact, in my pocket I tried again. No love. Lock from fob worked just fine. After work I did a quick assessment and noted that A) the proximity lock/unlock does in fact not work (passenger side continues to operate as intended), B) interior door lock/unlock DOES work, and C) mirror adjustment also fails to work (heating element inside mirror does appear to work based off defroster this morning). So it appears that the door is not entirely dead (I have not removed the doors in far too long). Suggestions on where to begin?

I had a broken wire in the harness to the door that caused a number of issues. It is likely a fatigue point especially if your leg presses against it when you drive.

Shake that door harness and see if you get things to work. Door harness is not difficult to replace.
