Yes I am planning to attend that with my kids in tow.Not in east TN but there are a couple of group drives Saturday going thru Cades Cove. We're going to the one that begins in Townsend and I think the other one starts in Sevierville. Check out "Go Topless in the Smokies"

My husband and I want to visit Nashville (we’ve been to the Gatlinburg area before, & wanted to see something new). We were waffling back-n-forth about driving down to Nashville (12-13 hours one way) and heading over to Pigeon Forge for the invasion for a quick one day - just to see all the jeeps. But, it just became too much driving…versus enjoying the vacation time.Anyone planning on going to the Jeep Invasion in Pigeon Forge, 21-23 Aug'25? Invasion is really not so much cruising based but its usually at a designated location that is enclosed and gated with vendors and jeeps on display. My husband and I want to visit Nashville (we’ve been to the Gatlinburg area before, & wanted to see something new). We’d been to Pigeon Forge during a Classic Car event….it gets extremely busy on that main drag. You’re either gonna cruise up/down the strip or if you’re lucky enough to find a spot to park along the roadway (Kinda like a SHOW & Shine) and you can walk around instead. That whole area get choked up with traffic. Pack your patience…. There’s a really good Brazillion Steakhouse on the strip (Gaucho Urbano). If you make reservations with them for dinner….. (they’re closed during the day), they’ll let you park in their parking lot during the daytime.
We decided to fly down to Nashville (in Oct) and probably pay an ungodly amount of $ for hotel rooms a block or two off Broadway. No rental car needed. I still need to get everything booked!!![]()
