EcoDiesel Coolant Leak

Just drove up from Denver to Montana, and i got a coolant leak/spray on top of the engine. Looks like it's coming from somewhere in the front. Not a constant thing, seems to come and go but i could tell something was going on from the smell.

Anyone else have this issue? Seems like def fluid is burning up pretty fast also.

Google shows that this engine had a recall in the ram trucks due to the EGR housing cracking or something along those lines, but i couldn't find any of this issue on the gladiator.

I have the 2022 Rubicon diesel. 7k miles and looks like the batteries are having issues as well.

I had a violent leak that stained both sides of the hood liner. Turns out it was from the overflow bottle not being tightened down properly…. I doubted it, but once tightened it stopped.

Interesting.

I checked it but it was tight. Don't see fluid on it so i don't think that's it. I also added some fluid on the way. Here's a pic

Do it I didn’t take that sucker into the dealer let them mess with it. One of the nice things about status still being within warranty.

Someone had their radiator leaking at one of the end caps. Think it was next to a mounting flange.

DEF, I use about 1/14 gal per 1K miles.
