Electric Adjusting Shock Question

Not ready to do anything yet, but am intrigued by the SDI E-Click Pro and the Falcon aDAPT e-Adjust shocks. Seems like a great option for somebody that really uses their vehicle both on and off road. Who has either and what feedback can you provide. At seemingly twice the price, what am I missing that makes the SDIs so much more expensive? Has anybody used either for a long period of time? Any feedback? TIA.

Active shocks are starting to come around in the jeeping world but not as popular yet. I personally have the manual falcon shocks and a few members have the adapt systems but haven’t seen anyone yet with SDI shocks. Definitely interesting stuff.

I would imagine low batch production and added complexity of production is why they are more money. Manual adjustment is just that, have to get out and adjust them electric adjustable would be a nice to have feature however if you don’t off road at a whim I’d not pay the extra myself.
I have neither so I’m no help lol
I wish I could get my multimatics back that my zr2 had. They were a nice shock.

Reviving this dead thread, I actually just placed my order for the SDI E-Clik Active version this past weekend. It ended up cheaper for these using a military discount than Bilstein 8100 bypass shocks with a discount, slightly more than the Fox 2.5 DSCs but way less than the Fox 3.0s. They also don't require any added bumps because they have built-in internal hydraulic bump stops. Sounds like it is a turnaround of a few days so might have them delivered by this coming weekend. Its an expensive risk but the company is not new to shock building, just new to offering their own branded shocks.

That is quite a savings there if planning on adding stand-alone hydraulic bump stops
