So, I have driven the gladiator about 20K, mostly highway, been really happy with it. It turned cold a few days ago, and Jeep lit up the check engine light. Took the code reader to see what it was and it turns out to be a P24C6. It can be cleared, but comes right back. Anyone had this one. I am guess the sensor went out, or there is a break in the wiring/connector.

Exhaust Particulate filter error.

bad sensor or your filter is clogged. Can you try to force a regen or pull the probe and see if its caked with soot?

go for a highway drive for 30 minutes and use manual mode to run the engine in a higher rpm?

Still have the code. I drive mostly highway miles. Have reset code, only to have it come back. I think either the wiring or the sensor is shot. It does not cause the Jeep to go in limp mode or anything, but since it sets the check engine light, I cannot remote start the Jeep. Getting it replaced will cost me a day of my time, if the deal has the sensor in stock. Right now, its hard to devote a whole day to going to the dealer, letting them find out what I know, and hopefully replacing the sensor. Anyone else had this sensor go so soon?

The PM sensor has a temp sensor in it that has failed. You need a new PM sensor, should be covered under warranty.
