Got in the gas hard yesterday and gf told me my car exhaust smelled like farts. Lol
Why would I be having a smell like this? Truck only has 5900 miles on it. Odd to be smelling sulphur on a new cat.
Exhaust from the cat back has been modified. AFE Vulcan kit. Forward of the cat nothing has been touched.
Any ideas?

Your truck thinks it has more horsepower so it's working harder but it can't suck enough air because you need a cold air intake and therefore is making fart smells because all that horsepower is being burnt up. The break down is like this:

Cat back only- fart smells

Catback + CAI- fiddy horsepower

Catback + CAI + angry grill- fiddy horsepower + 28mpg combined

Incorrect.
I have the cold air intake, AFE Momentum kit. Even though the factory air box is basically a CAI,
I’ll lose a few hp to NOT have an angry grille.

It’s not impossible but I wouldn’t rule out a bad cat. Take it to a smog shop and have them put it on the sniffer.

I reeeeeally want to make a Joe joke here…
I’ll see if the dealer can do that. Though they’ll likely just blame the catback exhaust

Not sure about the JT but it happened all the time with my JKUR and my Cobra which had four cats. The cats couldn’t process all the exhaust at WOT so some sulfur in the fuel gets by. Sulfur=rotten eggs smell. I wouldn’t have a concern unless it happened at normal throttle use.

It’s probably the fuel you put in it. Mfrs used to “wash” catalytic converters with nickel to eliminate the sulphur smell. That’s expensive so they have reduced the amount of nickel in the process. Fuel high in sulphur will thus emit an embarrassing smell. Change gas stations and see if the stink goes away.

Most vehicles stink when they're floored. I smell them all the time when the people in front are being cool or whatever they call it.
