Export Tail lights on NA Spec Gladiator

Hmm. can you explain what you mean by "tapping off the chmsl for the brake light that goes out"?
Have you used the wiring and programming described by the JScan guys - http://jscan.net/jeep-wrangler-jl-light-conversion-us-eu-specification/?

When the turn light comes on with a jl tazer the red brake light goes out. I just took a wire from the chmsl and ran it to the brake light wire and tapped in I did use a couple diodes to keep the current from going back to the bcm just to be safe I did not use any wire diagram from anyone just good ole trial and error.

Sorry to bump this old thread but I'm looking for the left export led tail light without blind spot assist everywhere and its marked as discontinued but the right side is available..

So we just got this working on my buddies 2022 JT



On the tail light connectors, we repinned the connectors on the lights them selfs by swapping pins 2 & 3.

Pin 2 were unpopulated on the euro lights, pin 3 was for the turn signal (L62 & L63 respectively)

on the body side connectors for the tail lights, pin 2 is side marker control (L144 & L145 respectively)

At the BCM we cut wires L144 & L145 from connectors C1 & C4 & taped them into the turn signal circuits for the front (circuits L60 & L61 respectively)


Was super easy to do, hope this info helps

What about Tazer, can that do it?

I know they are plug and play but you will need to flash the system with JScan to get it work properly but I think it will work. JScan has a us to euro conversion adaptation.
