I went with the 8yr/125k. I don't put a ton of miles on the truck. You are exactly right about the price. Mine was at about 16k miles when I bought the warranty and I wish I had done it sooner to save a little $$$. Pick the term and miles that suits your needs best.

Were you told how much more it was? Because my truck is a lease, I was going to wait a while longer until I was sure I was going to be purchasing it.

They didn't provide an exact number but from what I gathered it was only a couple of hundred dollars. Might be a good question to ask when make pricing inquiries. Sorry I couldn't provide more info. For you it may be worth the difference to wait in case you don't buy out the lease.

Nobody wants to admit how much they paid for the 'keep it working' insurance policy.

For my Gladiator, at 33 months and 32k miles, the Max Care Unlimited Mileage 7 year Plan discounted price was around $3300. There are multiple factors that will vary the cost, and Mopar periodically adjusts the price. Each person will need to get a quote for their situation.

Haha. We all overpaid for our vehicles. Overpaying for warranties seems reasonable.

Tom does not beat Granger. Tom is 100 over cost, Granger is 50 over cost.

50 bucks is trivial if you have some love for Tom, but Granger is very trustworthy too.

Under 12k miles or 1 year. Pricing from Mopar to the dealer go uo $430 at that point for a maxcare 8yr/125k 100ded

I went with the Max Care Unlimited Mileage, which is a seven year plan. The eight year plan only allows 125k miles. I'm already at 32k miles in just under three years.

32k in three years would be 96k in 8 years or 84k in 7 years. You'd have been better off with the 8/125.

That's assuming mileage accrues at a consistent rate over time, mine does not. If that plan would have been better for me, that's what I would have purchased.
