Nice! For clarity, Platinum coverage, 10 year, 100k miles, $200 deductible? Because ~$1,400 is closer to what most people have been quoted for 8 year, 75k miles.*100,000 mile extended
Yes sir, that’s 100,000 with no $200 deductibleNice! For clarity, Platinum coverage, 10 year, 100k miles, $200 deductible? Because ~$1,400 is closer to what most people have been quoted for 8 year, 75k miles.
That’s pretty good I’d say. What company is it financed through?Yes sir, that’s 100,000 with no $200 deductible
Commerce bank but that’s ally warranty through my local dealershipThat’s pretty good I’d say. What company is it financed through?
Yep, I think Tom honored his price that was given me before the price increase, but not sure. Tom has been offering these great prices for years with great reviews. Are you sure the deductible is the same for those two quotes?
If you're purchasing the warranty through the same entity as the vehicle, like I did: rolled into one loan. I would imagine that if you're purchasing through two different entities, you would need to get an external loan (i.e., a local credit union) in order to combine those fees into a single loan.Haven't bought my gladiator yet, but i want to get an extended warranty. I've emailed Tom for a quote and will do the same for Grainger.
Just wondering, were you able to roll the warranty cost into your you loan assuming you financed it, or do you have to pay full price out of pocket?
I bought one through Tom. He set me up with a Jeep Mastercard, that we put a portion on, and the rest was financed on a 18 month deal through FCA. I took the refund from canceling the existing warranty, and paid that on the Mastercard.Haven't bought my gladiator yet, but i want to get an extended warranty. Canceling the existing warranty? The factory 3 or 5 year warranty? You were refunded for that?I bought one through Tom. I canceled the Extended Warranty the dealer sold with the truck, to get better coverage. I refinanced the original loan at a lower interest rate through the credit union. The refund was sent back to the bank, but the loan was already paid, so the money went into my account.Canceling the existing warranty? The factory 3 or 5 year warranty? You were refunded for that?
The advantage of the Mopar plan is you can get service at any dealership across the country. There is no wait for a third-party to investigate and review your claim, and then decide what work the dealer is allowed to do.The Rubicon Gladiator i'm hoping to purchase tomorrow has 7500 miles on it and is a 2020. So far the best bumper to bumper warranty price i've gotten is with my credit union. 5yrs (from warranty purchase date) or 120k miles on the Jeep for $1776 with a $0 deductible.
Granger hasn't been able to provide a quote, something about the VIN says that it's a Canadian Jeep and the system won't allow them to quote it.
Tom provided a quote. 7yr (from in service date, so basically 5yrs from now) and 125k miles for $2385 and $100 deductible or $1960 for $200 deductible.
I haven't compared coverage verbiage word for word, but not sure i see a reason to go with Tom's plan vs. the one offered through my bank at this point. Either way, both options are half the price of what the dealership was offering!
You should be able to pull the window sticker with the vin which should have the original selling dealer info on it.The advantage of the Mopar plan is you can get service at any dealership across the country. You need to research the history of the vehicle before you buy. If it is a Canadian Jeep, you don't want it. There is no warranty service for it in the USA.
