Ordered a set of wheels/tires/TPMS for my 21 Gladiator. Couldn't be happier with the tires and wheels, shipped quick, no scratches or damage and bolted right up. They use the Alligator Sens.it TPMS which were installed (?) before they shipped. Problem is, my Gladiator won't pick up any signal from any sensor.

Anyone else using the Alligator valve Sens.it TPMS? It's again, supposedly the correct MHz for the stock Gladiator/JL TPMS. I spent some time on the phone this morning with one of their tech's but he said Chrysler products don't have manual "learn" capabilities, should have just been automatic. He also stated the JL's are having issues as well. He said maybe my tires were too thick..... I call BS.

Guess I'll either swap them to Mopar or tune them out if no one has a solution. Thanks everyone.

so not a similar story but maybe i can help. I had a 2020 gladiator, put those TPMS in my mammoth wheels. 2020 got totaled, bought a 2021 Freedom edition (probably a sport S trim) and put my mammoth wheels on the 2021, the sensors are different. The ones off my 2021 were grey, the ones off my 2020 were black...both factory with the truck.

There is a part number change half way through 2021 per a CDJR near me. Mine had different sensors. The scan tool picked up the 2020 sensors, but would not program to the 2021. Good luck.

Wow, interesting information. Sh*t luck of course. I was also looking through the JL forums and they seem to be having similar issues as well, more specifically with tire/wheel swaps.

After several emails with the sensor manufacturer, it has been narrowed down to the late 2021 part number swap mentioned above.

FYSA in case someone searches for this information at a later date.

I'll probably just program it out and maybe have some new ones installed at my next service. Thanks again.

Thanks, saw that thread. I figure the aftermarket suppliers would have figured it out by now but clearly they haven't. They want to send me new sensors but the hassle....
Hey man I just ordered a set of wheels and tires from Wheels for Warriors which is through Extreme Customs. I noticed you got the same sensors that I just received. So was your issue because you have a 2021 model? I have a 2020 and was curious if I will need to do anything before I install the sensors.
