Lord have mercy. There are a lot of prophets on here preaching their version of the gospel. It wasn’t bad a few months ago, but some of y’all seem to just try and one up each other. It’s either BS about what you should have or shouldn’t have paid; price off invoice doesn’t matter; tires either work or no way in hell it will work; towing and payload BS; I could go on and on. It was entertaining at first, but now it is just getting annoying. I’m to the point of blocking some prophets.

The good news is there are many new-to-Jeep owners buying Gladiators and other Jeep products.

The challenge can be helping (some of) them understand what they have and helping them enjoy it.

It’s all about perception brother. I’ve asked several questions on here and the answers have been all over the place. I agree some just want to be right. Some answers should be very cut and dry. I think my biggest issue is when people speak to things and really have no idea or experience what they are taking about.

Also, I kinda get the argument about invoice price. There are so many factors with buying a vehicle it’s never apples to apples.

Anyways, I totally get where you are coming from, however this forum is WAY better than any civic or even wrangler forum lol! I’m at the point when someone acts like a 5 year old or bully I just laugh and move on. Not worth my time.

I've come to appreciate your "glass mostly full" thinking. Note I didn't say "glass half full" as you put in more than that in a no-BS sort of way.

By All means Jeep's , offroading, ect this is my first rodeo and to the people on here with years of experience doing these things I commend you for helping us new folks out. Yes I know we will ask the same questions untill the cows come home to annoy the hell out of y'all but I appreciate each and every one of you trying to help to the best of your abilities. I agree some of the trash talk isn't needed and there a no it all everywhere you turn but sometimes it's best to laugh and move on. I try to help out here and there from what I've researched and sometimes I've been wrong but it's the effort that counts, after all we all have one goal on here and it's to build the most bad ass off road Jeep's we can build;)

Visit a drag racer's forum when new folks come in, or when someone is trying to build a 600 HP engine and suddenly everything they do is wrong, and those telling them so get into it with others telling them they are doing fine...... dock workers are more polite and have cleaner language.

OP you are not being held hostage. If you are not happy here after your 5 month trial period move on.
Crap - I gotta go back and re-read the fine print. There's a trial period?
