Its not an occasional torque reduction, its a full-blown limp mode that has to be fully reset by a dealer. This situation is unacceptable. Long live the manuals. If you are not rowing gears, you are not having fun while driving.The last letter I received in early 2023 (recall 23V-116) stated a remedy was not yet available, but when I logged on to my Jeep dashboard this morning, it appears they have updated this recall and finally decided to replace the clutch assembly (haven't received my official letter yet). Although I'm not a fan of the software-only "solution" of limiting torque when slippage is detected, I'll go ahead and have this recall completed since it looks like they'll be replacing the clutch assembly. 43,000 miles and I get a new clutch...works for me.
