Well done - How many cans of each and how many coats to achieve your results?
Thanks! 4 cans of paint 2 cans of clear. 2 coats of adhesion promoter, 3 coats of primer, 3 coats of paint, 2 coats of clear

It looks great. Kind of reminds me of a 1957 Chrysler 300 dashboard.

Well done!

Did you have any issues with fit when reassembling due to the added thickness of all the layers of paint? It certainly sounds like you did it the 'right way', I'm just imagining part fitment issues.

I've been considering doing the same, but I haven't made up my mind yet on painting all the parts like you did or a subset of them. I've never removed or worked around an airbag, that is daunting, like handling a grenade.

No issues at all with the re-installation. Not as bad as it looks. Just disconnect both batteries before performing airbag removal, and let it sit for a while after disconnect before working on it.

Is there any plastic clips that needed to be replaced (Easy reinstall?) or did it all come out and go back without any breakage?
Also- you mentioned 4 cans paint, 2 of clear. Was the adhesive and primer in addition to that or included?
Nice work!👍

Thanks! Some clips didn't come out so I had to push them back in, but nothing broke. I tried to be as careful as I could disassembling. As far as adhesion promoter that was 1 can, and 2 cans of white primer in addition to the paint and clear
