First Granite Crystal VIN# Post Here

have you checked to see if any other colors are inside the vin spread of granites?

No, but a few months back I looked at a few different data points and it pointed to them building ~1200 Granite LEs (somewhere way back in this thread). So 350 based on this small sample set, and knowing there are going to be additional direct to dealer builds after these like we are seeing hit dealer lots now for other colors, is the right order of magnitude. Also, the VIN spread is similar to what we saw from the other LE colors when VINs were assigned to those back in April (i.e. small sampling of forum member inputs vs. all JT orders). Jeep assigned VINs to all the Granite LEs at the same time, so it's reasonable that other builds weren't squeezed in between. Of course, the only folks who really know are Jeep production folks.

Been following the forum since April, didn't want to post until vin assigned because I would just get caught up in it all and make myself a mess.

Here's the latest Granite LE info based on inputs provided since yesterday.

A few notes from looking at this data:

• VINs consistently assigned in order of VONs.
• We are showing at least 351 Granite LEs if you look at the highest and lowest VINs.
• D/D1 and estimated build/ship dates have absolutely no correlation to VIN/VON/sequence of order placement.
• Does look like most folks are in D1 status now (with or without known ship date). Of folks reporting current status, 8 are in D1 and 2 are still in D.
• Estimated build/ship dates range from 8/30 to 9/6 (for those who have dates).

Updated with @Sean0170 & my info. I went D1 this morning with est ship date of 9/6 (+2-3 weeks to dealer).

Mine is non LE granite ordered 6-10-19 went to D1 two days ago (for the second time) but no ship date yet. VIN ends in 130694 so not sure why I don’t have a date yet. Par for the course I guess since I had a VIN on 6-12-19 and have been in D ever since

OK I’m a little confused... so, Kayakmike’s is “in the body shop being built”... and mine is “probably done”? Does that mean he couldn’t find my VIN? (I feel a double bazinga coming on!) ;{

I gave up the gcmle and found a black rubicon dual tops etc. It had pretty much everything the LE had except for the Bluetooth speaker and front camera. Plus it got a better deal. So all worked out for me since i really wanted hard top
