Thank you.
I thought they were the same light just dimmed down. Guess I have not paid that much attention to that. You would tap into the courtesy footwell light not the ambient(if you have ambient, some do not)
These are paintable, we do not offer them painted at this time but we did match the color and surface texture of the original part to keep the "OEM" look.I like these a lot. I wish they would come in paint matching colors maybe with the black vent part like factory. I would say that at $199.95 that is a fair MSRP.
No, these use focusing optics to direct the light at the ground without any glare being created and wasting the light output. They look really bright in those new pics... Any glare to the driver or passenger?
You would tap the fender light for turn signal. You do not need to run a cable to the front turn signal, the cable is right behind the fender vent. For the white light it is easiest to tap the foot-well light (Yes, it keeps the "theater dimming effect") or you could connect to an Aux switch if you prefer to use this as a rock light.Do they wire directly to the existing fender lights?
Im interested.
Here is a view looking down. They stick out a tad further than the factory door hinge from the sheetmetal. The fender is indented in this area so we designed this to use that cavity to drop the emitters down and keep everything nice and tight@ORACLElights .... Can you post pics looking straight down the side to show how far out they protrude compared to the sheet metal
Here is a photo of the courtesy light tap for reference.I thought they were the same light just dimmed down. Guess I have not paid that much attention to that.
So are the courtesy lights and the footwell ambiance lights the same light? Im getting mixed signals. Are they on while driving down the road with the headlights on unless you dim the footwell lights all the way down? Not a problem for me either way. I will still prolly buy a set. Just curious. For the white light it is easiest to tap the foot-well light (Yes, it keeps the "theater dimming effect") or you could connect to an Aux switch if you prefer to use this as a rock light.
No, these do not stay on with the headlights (unless you wire them to do so).So are the courtesy lights and the footwell ambiance lights the same light? Im getting mixed signals. These are the products I love to see companies making; functional, affordable, and increases visibility on the road. Nice work guys. Here is a video of a night drive showing the basic functions of the module.
