This kit was a bit more challenging to install than I expected. In the end, I picked up a 6M x 1.00 tap to clear the threads of the gunk from the factory bed liner. That stuff gets well into the threads. I used my chamfer tool from my reloading bench to clear the pukas of material, then ran the tap gently into the threads to get the bolts to pass cleanly...this, after nearly destroying one of the T30 bolt faces.
Once I had the tap in hand the project really sped up. Mopar ships 12 T30 bolts to fit into the 14 pukas, so I left the rear support bracket empty until I can grab a couple of 6M x 1.00 carriage bolts. What a shame!
