I installed Rough Country power steps on my Gladiator but when folded up the pinch weld looked like crap.I painted the pinch weld with Rocker Guard and the pinch weld disappeared.

Nice! I was tripping about this because I just installed them as well and they don’t quite cover the whole thing like the stock ones I had on my Ram did. Also the body has an ellipse and the step is straight. Also they are not as wide as the Amp Research. They are also less than half the price. For the $1500 savings including install I can afford the really good shocks so to me it’s worth it. Thanks for the tip!

Wow, that does make a difference! I'm in the process of purchasing the RC steps, and my JT High Altitude is silver.

After I installed the steps I only had the Gladiator on the road for a month after the purchase of the truck but the steps worked just fine. I still have my 2012 Sierra and I use it in the winter for my plow truck. In two weeks I will be taking that off the road and putting the Gladiator back on, too expensive to keep both on the road at the same time. If in my neck of the woods we have another mild winter like this last year I will sell the GMC or when the old truck which has 145000 miles on it dies only then will the Gladiator be my daily driver. the steps were one of my better investments for the truck since I do not do any off roading. They make getting in and out of it so much easier. If any problems with the steps arise this summer I will post.
