Rachel, I see several members cancelled their tail light orders. Will that open space in the pre-orders list. If yes please count me in as a yes!

Hi Jim! Are you asking if you can get in on the group buy? It is ended, unfortunately; but you can still place a normal pre-order here: https://www.oraclelights.com/products/flush-taillight-jt (use code forum10 for 10% off)

Just curious is there a list to see where people are on the order queue?

I believe because a few of us unsuccessfully tried to get this info they included a blurb in the email saying they are unable to tell people where their place is. My guess is that It's probably more work than what it's worth to do that in their sales system.

OR, you could go thru Quadratec, use the forum discount, and get them cheaper than the pre-order cost...and potentially have them within a few weeks of the initial shipment...??‍♂

They'll be at the end of the line, but yes will be getting 15% off if they chose to do that. We have a post on our forum with more info on this flash sale if anyone needs it. :)

Not quite accurate. Our forum discount is not applicable on other companies' sites, and the discount codes shared here are only applicable for OracleLights.com. To be clear, orders placed via other dealers will NOT receive them any sooner as they are shipping in the order they were received no matter if it's a direct customer or through a dealer. The benefit of getting in the initial group buy is that you are literally first in line -- before they are offered to any other customer. This is a thank-you for forum members' feedback during our design process.

Hope that helps your understanding.

That makes no sense. If they can't easily access the order things were ordered in the system, then they can't ship them in the order they were received. One or the other is true, but not both.

I work in the software industry. This is as hard as dumping the list from their sales platform into a spreadsheet and ordering by date and time order was placed. The count to the left of the spreadsheet then tells them the place in line. They could do this once and place it on their share drive and all phone reps could easily access it. Or they could dump it into their email marketing platform and send everyone an email telling them their place in line.

yes! that's what I figured, but that means a lot more people would cancel their orders so no go on that, that's why I canceled my order, cause I know they could provide that info but they just don't want to, I really tried I think that's taking advantage of the customer's who willingly helped in the development etc. I thought it'd be fair to let them know when they can realistically expect the item they already paid for and make an informed decision, yes I can wait a couple more weeks, no I can't don't want to wait 3 more months. and I know things happen in production etc, specially when it's new development but this has nothing to do with that, I also work in a production environment where there are multiple factors, such as factories, material, development, QC etc.

We cannot release this until we have the product in hand. Once the incoming shipment is fully processed, this will provide us with a definitive count. Because of this, your place in the queue could be bumped to the next round. We aren't able to release this so you aren't promised another ship date that later cannot be met if there is an unforeseen issue. We feel that overpromising will be more of a trouble.

There's no conspiracy -- groupbuy orders will be THE first to receive their orders and we are communicating the best we can.

If this isn't acceptable for any customer needs, we understand that and are happy to assist with canceling orders. As we've stated before, we can end the trouble there for you if you don't want to wait longer. Anyone please PM us your order info if this is the case for you! We'll be happy to quickly assist you with accomplishing this!
