Looking for a bulb upgrade for the factory fog light housing to use during back off-road excursions.

For the price of the quality aftermarket bulbs you're better off going with LED pods, it's a little more effort to swap them out but the performance is much better.

Diode Dynamics SS3 Pods have an 8 year warranty and are very similar in price.

I just installed the ss3 max yellow fog lamps in the Mojave bumper. Very bright and at over $500 also very expensive. Do believe they will preform in bad weather.

Pictures please.
mine are white, but here's some pics. Once it's dark I'll get some photos of just the fogs.

My hidprojectors.com headlights are pretty bright and overpower the middle of the fog light pattern.

I used these:

And I'm happy with the results.
Keep in mind that if you relamp or replace the fog lights with fog lights, you'll still have the low, flat beam: that's what fog lights do. If you want something that puts out more of a vertical beam spread, you'll need to get driving lights, in which case you'd be better off to put on some additional lights and keep your fog lights for, well, fog.

I replaced the OEM white fog light bulbs with yellow LED bulbs for better performance in fog, rain and snow added benefit don't draw in the bugs as bad.
IMHO: "white light" fog lights are the equivalent to screen door on submarine. Due to added glare in fog, rain and snow. Driving lights are just that not fog lights and vice versa. I added white spots and flood LED lights for driving (when no oncoming traffic) to blind.
I did "copy" my choice of LED bulbs from a thread on here, I had one LED bulb fail but company replaced it.

Now seeing the time I'm posting will say I do spend time in limited light for driving.😉

Go with the Supernova V.4. Make sure to get genuine bulbs. MUCH more light output and better beam pattern since it'll be in the factory housing. Choice of white or amber color. I LOVED mine.
